Rupert Grint et Jamie Bell également candidats au rôle de Tintin

Rumor Update: Dark Horizons has more on Rupert Grint in Tintin

Moviehole reports that there are actually two Tintin films potentially in the works. Aside from Steven Spielbergs planned project, last year's Oscar-winning director Roman Polanski is also purportedly interested in trying to bring the European adventurer to the big screen. Polanski is apparently eyeing the Tintin in Tibet comic to be used as the film's storyline.
Spielberg's version though is ahead and currently undergoing casting considerations. Two names being branded about are Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley in "Harry Potter") and Jamie Bell ("Billy Elliot"). Elliot is said to be a favourite choice of the director, but since he only wants to do just one film, not two or more, Rupert Grint was then mentioned.
